One of the most frequent errors when using Finder is the inability to unmount a disk image or delete a file that, according to the system, is being used.

What's Keeping Me is an application for Mac that allows you to find out the name of the process that is accessing the file and thus preventing any operation from being carried out with it.

You just have to write the name of the blocked file in the search bar. What's Keeping Me lists all of the processes that are using the file. Click on Quit App or Kill App to close the process or force its shutdown.
